Get ready to go big with your creativity!

Join us at the Courthouse Gallery & Studios for this exciting hands-on street art workshop series, designed especially for young people with an interest in bold letters, graffiti, and getting their hands dirty.

Over three Fridays in May, we’ll explore the art of painting large letters, working at large scale, and developing a group mural-style piece for public display.

Workshop 1 (Fri 16 May):

An energetic intro to painting big! You’ll get to grips with large brushes, bold lines, and mural materials as we explore what it takes to paint letterforms on a wall. Expect paint, fun, and mess!

Workshop 2 (Fri 23 May):

We’ll build on your skills with collage and design techniques, and as a group decide on a shared motto or slogan to guide our final artwork.

Workshop 3 (Fri 30 May):

Each participant will design and complete a section of the group artwork—large-scale painted letters that form the group’s message for display on Cruinniú na nÓg day.

Saturday 7th June 2025 (Cruinniú na nÓg)

🎯 Participants can attend one, two, or all three workshops. It’s recommended to join all three to get the full experience, and priority will be given to those booking the full series, as places are limited.

💥 No experience needed – just bring your creativity, energy, and clothes you don’t mind getting messy!
