Ennistymon Street Art Project: Young Voices on the Walls
Make your mark on Ennistymon.
Join professional street artists Marcus O’Connor and Derek Ross for a powerful three-part workshop series where young people (ages 14–18) will design and paint a large-scale mural exploring themes of identity, community, and belonging.
Over the course of three Tuesday afternoons, you’ll:
- Develop a shared concept around what place and belonging mean to you
- Learn real street art techniques like scaling, composition, and mural painting
- Co-create a permanent piece of public art that reflects your voice
This is a hands-on, collaborative project for young creatives who want to be part of something bold, meaningful, and lasting. No experience needed—just energy, ideas, and a willingness to work together.
Dates & Times:
- Tues 9 Sept · 4:00–6:00pm
- Tues 23 Sept · 4:00–6:00pm
- Tues 7 Oct · 4:00–7:00pm (final mural painting session)
Location:
The Courthouse Gallery & Studios, Ennistymon
Free to attend – but participants must commit to all three sessions.
Spaces are limited, so early booking is essential.
