The Courthouse Gallery & Studios (CHG&S) is delighted to open submissions for our 2027 cultural programme!

As we look ahead to an inspiring new year, we’re inviting artists of all backgrounds, disciplines, and career stages to help shape a bold, imaginative, and dynamic programme for 2027.

Whether you’re an emerging artist with a fresh perspective or an established practitioner exploring new directions, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome proposals across all themes and are open to both solo and joint applications.

Submission Deadline: 12th January 2026

We are only accepting work from artists based on the island of Ireland.

Remuneration: All selected artists will be paid fairly in line with fair pay for artists, with fees dependent on confirmed funding. There is no submission fee.

Mediums: We embrace a wide range of practices—from digital art, large-scale installations, and performance, to outdoor, off-site, and site-specific work. If your work pushes boundaries, we want to see it.

Expressions of Interest

Submitting an expression of interest should take no more than 20 minutes.

How to Apply

You will need the following information ready before completing the application form:

• Project title
• Full name (as shown on your passport)
• Artist Name (If different)
• Email
• Phone Number
• Your project idea / proposal (200-400 words)
• Proposed budget 
• Images to upload (3 images of work)
• Artist CV
• Website (optional)
• Instagram / social media handles (optional)

Please ensure all information is prepared in advance, as incomplete applications cannot be accepted. 

Please be aware that if selected your work may be combined with other artists for joint exhibitions.

By submitting you agree that the information which you provided can be used as part of CHG&S funding applications for our 2027 programme.
