1. Introduction

Welcome to the website of The Courthouse Gallery & Studios (the “Site”), operated by Old Ennistymon Heritage Ltd., a not-for-profit arts organisation based in Ennistymon, Co. Clare, Ireland. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site.

  • All work submitted is your original creation and does not infringe on others’ rights
  • Submission fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Selected artists will be contacted with additional instructions and requirements
  • Any materials submitted may be retained for archive and reference purposes
  • These are general terms and conditions. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions of an individual submission or exhibition. 

We reserve the right to curate submissions at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide feedback or individual responses.

4. Event Participation

When you attend or register for events hosted by The Courthouse Gallery & Studios, either on-site or virtually:

  • You agree to behave respectfully and lawfully
  • Some events may have additional terms (e.g., registration fees, age restrictions)
  • We reserve the right to refuse access to any event without notice

5. Photography and Media Consent

The Courthouse Gallery & Studios may document exhibitions, events, and workshops through photography, video, or livestreaming for promotional, archival, and reporting purposes.

By entering our premises or participating in events, you consent to the use of your image or likeness in media produced by or for the organisation. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please notify a staff member on arrival or email info@thecourthousegallery.com.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including images, text, branding, and layout — is owned or licensed by The Courthouse Gallery & Studios unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

If you are an artist and your work is featured on our Site or in promotional materials, you retain copyright, and we will credit you wherever reasonably possible.
