About the Artists
Michael Lightborne
Michael Lightborne, an accomplished artist and researcher, integrates sound, moving images, and text in his work. His installations and performances have been featured internationally, and his sound pieces have aired on notable platforms such as BBC Radio 3 and NTS Radio. Michael's performance will delve into his research on John Moriarty and the Irish landscape, utilizing field recordings and drone atmospherics to explore our relationship with the land.
Laura Kilty (LAIR)
Laura Kilty, known professionally as LAIR, is an Irish artist with a diverse portfolio spanning various musical styles. Her vocal compositions under the LAIR moniker are celebrated for their depth and innovation. With a background in music and media technologies from Trinity College Dublin, Laura combines her artistic talents with her skills as a Yoga Teacher and Sound Healer.
