Thank you for your interest in Frame by Frame: Stop Motion Animation for Children.
This is a free 3-part workshop series for children aged 9–12, led by Ana Colomer and Éanna Byrt. Across the three sessions, participants will explore storytelling, character-making, movement and stop-motion animation, working together to create short animated films from their own ideas. Children may experiment with a range of materials and approaches, including Lego, paper cut-outs, drawn elements, found objects, or a mix of techniques depending on the interests of the group.
Because this is a progressive workshop series, participants should be available to attend all three sessions.
Submitting this form is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee a place. Places are limited and will be offered based on availability.
Important booking note
As these workshops are free, we ask families to register thoughtfully. Each year, some places are booked but not used, which can mean another child misses the opportunity to take part.
Please only register interest if your child is likely to be available for all three sessions. To help us allocate places fairly, please only request the number of places you genuinely expect to use. If a family registers multiple places and then takes up fewer than requested, they may be moved lower on the queue for this workshop series. Where demand is high, those with a strong attendance record on previous free events will be prioritised for future free workshops and events.
