Karena Ryan is a textile artist and wool advocate based in Tuam, County Galway, whose work blends embroidery, felting, beading, and natural dyeing to explore landscape, ecology, and cultural memory. Using Irish wool and foraged materials, she creates tactile, sustainable pieces that reflect Ireland’s environments. Ryan has exhibited internationally and received awards including the Arts Council Agility Award and Future Makers Award.
