"Jesus in a Fridge" Regina O'Dea

Regina O’Dea is a mixed-media artist living in the Burren region of County Clare. She holds a BA Honours in Interior Architecture from London Metropolitan University and has a background in community arts and professional model-making. O’Dea’s art is deeply place-driven: the limestone landscapes of the Burren and their sense of history inform her practice. Favoring low-tech, eco-conscious processes with minimal environmental impact, she often works in alternative photography – notably the cyanotype process – to create images rich in texture and cyan-blue tone. O’Dea has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held two solo shows with the Kinvara Area Visual Arts group, connecting her environmental art with the local community.
