"Metzli" Hazel Mc Crann

Hazel Mc Crann is a painter based in the West of Ireland whose work explores the physical process of painting through layering and material interaction. Working mainly on board, her paintings evolve through cycles of obliteration and revelation. A graduate of ATU Sligo, she has exhibited widely across Ireland and Wales, with solo shows at The Hyde Bridge Gallery and Custom House Studios. In 2024, she was awarded a residency at The Model, Sligo.
