Eileen Collins is a self-taught painter based in County Clare. After 30 years expressing her creativity as a hairstylist, she transitioned to painting full-time and works from her home studio. Collins’s vibrant, textured oil paintings are inspired by everyday moments and the natural beauty of the west of Ireland – from fleeting light in the Burren to simple joys of rural life. Her colourful, expressive style aims to evoke emotion and reflection in viewers. Collins has held two solo exhibitions in Limerick and participated in numerous juried group shows (e.g. the “Summer of Love” exhibition in Ennistymon and open calls in Galway and Cork), steadily building a connection with audiences through her heartfelt work.
