"Mermaid's Purse" Aoife Bambury

Aoife Bambury is a Kildare-based sculptor and visual artist exploring the relationship between humans and the natural world. Her work merges natural forms with industrial elements to reflect environmental impact and human intervention. A graduate of NCAD and Crawford College, with bronze casting training in Burkina Faso, she has exhibited at the RHA, Royal Ulster Academy, and Sculpture in Context. Bambury’s first solo show was at MART Gallery in 2022.
